What color is Valentine's Day? Of course, red! Ekaterina Ponomareva, national Lancôme make-up artist, offers an elegant make-up option with red lipstick to match the clothes

Red in clothes and make-up is a guaranteed way to be noticed. We will not dive into the theory of why it works like a magnet for the human eye, but will immediately move on to practice. It is precisely because of the maximum brightness that this color requires a certain restraint in creating a harmonious image. Therefore, the emphasis will be on the lips. And the eyes will be highlighted with warm golden shadows with a slight shimmer. So let's get started.

  1. The first step in any makeup is preparing the skin. I traditionally use the Advanced Génifique Youth Activator Serum. It perfectly moisturizes the skin and has a beneficial effect on its microbiome. If you have a long evening ahead and have an extra 20 minutes, then you can also make a mask before makeup - the concentration of probiotics that are beneficial for the skin is even higher in it than in serum.

  1. Then I even out the tone. One of my favorites is Teint Miracle. It adheres beautifully to the skin and creates a very natural and light coverage. No wonder miracle is translated as "miracle" . Even the most fair-skinned girls, who often have difficulties in this matter, manage to pick up an almost perfectly suitable shade. For more mature skin, Teint Visionnaire foundation fluid with SPF 20 is suitable.

  1. The next step is shadows. I blend the warm, shining golden shade from the Hypnôse palette over the upper movable eyelid, capturing a slightly motionless part, leading to the outer corner of the eyebrow.

Then, to create a slight smoky effect, blend some shadows along the lower eyelid, also leading to the outer edge of the eyebrow.

  1. I don't do arrows in this make-up, but for the expressiveness of the look, it is worth painting over the inter-ciliary space of the upper and lower eyelids with a brown pencil, in harmony with golden shadows.

  1. Then I paint my lashes with the classic black Hypnôse mascara.

  1. Eye makeup is ready. Now with a highlighter I will add a little radiance along the contour of the cheekbones.

  1. Finally, the final chord is red lipstick. Today my favorite is L'Absolu Rouge Drama Ink. This scarlet matte finish looks perfect while keeping lips hydrated. The convenient applicator perfectly distributes color. And the name of the shade is the best fit for the holiday of lovers - Love on Fire.

An elegant look for a girl in red is ready!
