The French brand has recently released a novelty - moisturizing lipstick with ecoglitter Rouge Volupté Rock'n Shine. The magic lip product was tested by editor-in-chief Veronika Gnezdilova

I fell in love with this lipstick at first sight!

It was enough to look at the luxurious bottle: the brand's gold logos accentuate the shade of lipstick, and the silver cap interspersed with iridescent particles hints at the ecoglitter surprise waiting for you inside.

After testing Rouge Volupté Rock'n Shine, I found it to be the most versatile lip product I've ever tried.

  • The lipstick has a very nice creamy texture, making it feel as comfortable on the lips as a balm.

  • Moisturizes, by the way, also no worse than a balm. It contains coconut oil and pomegranate extract, which provide quality care.

  • Rouge Volupté Rock'n Shine gives rich coverage, but if you want a highly pigmented effect, apply two layers of lipstick.

  • Twelve shades are presented in the palette, from beige nude to bright cherry color.

  • In the center of the stick is an ecoglitter rod. Upon application, the glitter blends with the lipstick and adds shine to the lips, adding visual volume to the lips.

I tested two shades: 3 Pink Flow and 12 Rockstage Red.

Shade 3 Pink Flow

The coating is very comfortable for the lips. I didn't use a lip balm before applying lipstick, although my lips are quite dry now, but Rouge Volupté Rock'n Shine smoothed out all the bumps.

This is the perfect nude shade, it looks as natural as possible on the lips and fits perfectly into the daytime make-up. But due to the active shine that glitter gives, this lipstick can also be used in evening make-up, it will successfully complement bright smokey eyes in YSL Beauté style.

Shade 12 Rockstage Red

The juicy cherry hue definitely catches the eye. But keep in mind: the lipstick looks a little lighter on the skin than in the stick.

Despite the bright shade, the product can be applied without a pencil, and all thanks to the texture, close to the texture of the balm. A little lipstick can be smudged on the apples of the cheeks to achieve a light blush effect that is in perfect harmony with the tone of the lips. I did.
